Early Christmas Present~Brooks ID Program

We have been a part of the Brooks Running ID program for the last 5 years. Brooks running is a fantastic running company, not only do they make great running gear, but they are also personable and active within communities. About three years ago, Brooks Running introduced Brooks Most Inspiring Coaches, Clint was nominated and selected as a top ten finalist. To read more click here. Clint was excited to hear that he will be sponsored again for 2015. We plan on updating this post with a gear review of the new and upcoming gear of Brooks Running.

Stand Up Paddleboarding

Our next little adventure for this spring and summer is our new BicSup. This is our first stand up paddleboard, picked up from a local dealer here on the island. As soon as we get it out on the water I will write up a more detail review on the board itself. So far our family is excited to take it out for its first wet adventure.

Worn Wear Patagonia

Patagonia Worn Wear:

If you happen to be one of those gear dudes who finds themselves falling in love with their current gear and the idea of replacing them for the something "new" or "better" turns you off, you may just be excited about what patagonia is introducing.

This is what Patagonia says about their Worn Wear program:

Better Than New

One of the most responsible things we can do as a company is to make high-quality stuff that lasts for years and can be repaired, so you don’t have to buy more of it. The Worn Wear® program celebrates the stories we wear and keeps your gear in action longer to take some of the pressure off the planet. Patagonia/WornWear

Below are a couple videos provided by Patagonia. The first video is a short introduction to the Worn Wear Stories, and the second video is a 27:52 minute documentary.
